The building has been totally restored from a typical 16th century tuscan cottage; the archs an the original symmetric stone stairs that end on a small porch can still been observed. It is built on two levels and a mansard, the main facade is characterized by an element of the typical rural tuscan architecture, in fact the facade is not simply painted; it is painted with a colored mortar that resembles the antique tuscan blend made out of lime and red grape pomace.

A playground for children and two barbecue points make out of this ventilated space a perfect place to explore Tuscany, in fact, we are just 40 km away from Pisa, 110 km away from Florence and 80 km from Siena. We are also near the state road "Aurelia" (SS1) from which stunning beaches can be reach within minutes.

The Etruscan Coast, named after the many Etruscan necropolis on its territory, includes the coastal Livorno sea. The tuscan coast here is mainly low with sandy and golden beaches, excluding the section between Rosignano, Vada and the Piombino, Quercianella and Castiglioncello headlands where the Residence the Macchiaioli is situated.
